Zoom provides the capability to control who is admitted to your meetings even after you ve joined as the host using a feature called waiting room.

Under the security section verify the waiting room feature is enabled. Zoom provides the capability to enable a feature called waiting room to help manage when meeting participants are able to enter the meeting. The lobby can be considered as the waiting room. Use the waiting room anytime you need to manage when participants join your hosted meeting.
